Yael Stone
Stone was born in Sydney and grew up there. She went to the Newtown High School of the Performing Arts (NIDA) as well as the National Institute of Dramatic Art. Stone's journey into acting started as an infant, as she appeared in Me Myself I. and The Farm. In 2008, at the Sydney Theatre Awards she was awarded Best Newcomer as well being named Best Supporting Artist for her performance on The Kid. As well as her roles in theatre, she's had a role on TV, with supporting roles, such as All Saints or Spirited. From 2010 to 2011 in The Diary of a Madman. As a result of this role she was nominated for The Sydney Theatre Awards for Best Supporting Actress. The Diary of a Madman was performed by the Brooklyn Academy of Music in New York. In March 2011, she travelled back to Sydney to take on the principal characters as a lead actress in A Golem Story (a story about the character of a golem), Summer of the Seventeenth Doll and As You Like It.
